Work/ Research
I work at the Department of Intelligent Hydraulics and Automation, Tampere University of Technology. I work with Remote Handling (RH) -technologies, mainly with the RH-maintenance equipment development for the ITER-fusion reactor.
Hobbies
I have always been interested in different machines and nowadays my main interest is in numerically controlled machines. I have built a three-axis milling machine that I'm continuously developing. Currently the mill is controlled with Mach3 software, but I'm in the process of implementing an EMC based control for it.
I have built various radio controlled nitro trucks and now I'm also trying to learn to fly-a radio controlled helicopter (nitro).
